First
I want to say "Thank You" for allowing
me to set up your streaming media device.
If
I wasn't able to be there in person to walk you through each & every
app & show you all of the wonderful & unique features of each
one, I am very sorry about that. But I have put together this compilation
that will hopefully get you started, get you through the basics, &
answer any questions that you may have.
Key Word #1: PATIENCE!
Key Word #2: DILIGENCE!
.
. . . . . . . . .You MUST have patience.
You MUST remember that what you have in your possession is basically
FREE movies & FREE TV. The key word here
is "FREE". You don't pay for this content
with money, instead you pay for it with PATIENCE! If you want to turn
on your TV & go
right to a channel or movie & it comes on INSTANTLY, with no pauses
or hiccups, then this might not be for you, you might be better off
signing up for a service & $PAY$ a
monthly fee.
.
. . . . . . . . .With patience & time, you will get to know all the in & outs & the
strengths & weaknesses of each app. You will get to know which
app is good for this channel, which app is good for watching THIS show,
which app is good for watching THAT show. Each app IS different, while
it is true that some apps do have some of the exact same things, each
one is better at some things than others. That is one of the main reasons
that I provide you with so many apps, CHOICE, OPTIONS, & REDUNDANCY.
If one isn't working, try another, if one link doesn't work, try the
next one. It may seem overwhelming at first I know, but trust me, over
time, with PATIENCE, you will come to LOVE it.
Enjoy & Happy
Streaming!
*A
True Story & A Perfect Example of PATIENCE & DILIGENCE & Why
I provide So Many Apps: "OPTIONS & REDUNDANCY":
I
sat down to watch a movie that I'd been meaning to watch for awhile.
I opened an app, the movie I was looking for wasn't available, I
looked for it in another app, it wasn't available in that one either.
I opened a 3rd app, the movie was listed but it had no links (streams)
(so still not really available), I opened the 4th app & it had
only 1 link, I clicked it & after watching the spinning circle
for a few seconds the movie started playing, it played perfectly
for about 6 minutes then I noticed the audio started to go out of
sync with the video, no biggie, a simple press of the "Rewind" Button
or a press of the left side of the "Ring" on the remote
to go back 30 seconds usually fixs that issue, then it just stopped
playing about 20 minutes in, the link had died. I tried playing it
again
but no luck. So I went to app #5 & low & behold it was listed & it
had a ton of links. I picked a link & I got a spinning circle
for a bit, I went out & picked another link, a spinning circle
again for a bit, I picked another, the circle spun for a bit then
it started playing, Hooray! After about 2 minutes it started pausing & skipping, "AHH,
COME ON MAN!" I went out & chose another link & THAT
link played PERFECTLY all the way to the very end of the film.

The
Information Below Reflects My Current Methods,
Techniques & Apps,
Which Are Constantly Changing & Evolving,
& Refers Mainly To "Fire TV Devices"
Since Those Are The Most Popular,
So If Your Device Does Not Have My Latest Updates
Your Steps/Processes/Apps May Differ.
.
. . . . .
.
. . . . .
» F Y I «
1. Let's Get One Thing CRYSTAL CLEAR: I DO NOT Develop or Maintain Any
of
. . . . . .The
"Streaming" Apps On Your Devices And I Make No Claim To Their
. . . . . .Functionality.
That Being
Said, Each & Every App I Install On Your Device Is
. . . . . .Fully
Operational & .Tested
As of The Time I Set It
Up For Your Usage (Unless
. . . . . .Otherwise
Verbally Stated or Messaged). Any App Can Stop
Working At Any
. . . . . .Given
Time, Depending On The Developer of Said App.
. . . . . . . . . . The
Only Thing That I Implement & Maintain
Is Ad Blocking Technology*,
. . . . . .That
Is Why You Rarely (If Ever) See Ads When Using Apps. (Ads That Are
. . . . . .Placed "Inside" of
or Made
A Part of Movies
Can NOT Be Blocked Because They
. . . . . .Are
Apart of That File.)
( *Note:
It Is NOT Possible To "Safely" Block 100% of Ads )
2. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER, NEVER "Download" ANYTHING
IN ANY
. . . . . .APP!
Never Click On Anything That Says "Download".
This Is VERY Important!
. . . . . .When
Using Any App You Only Want
To "Play/Stream", NEVER Download! And
. . . . . .Check
Your E-Mail At Least Once A Week For Any "Copyright
Infringement"
. . . . . .Notices
From Your ISP. If You Do Receive
A Notice It Is Also VERY Important
. . . . . .That You
DO NOT Respond To It! Just Read It Over & See
What Movie/Show
. . . . . .Got Flagged & Hopefully
You Will Remember What App It Was & What
. . . . . .Happened When
You Watched That Video (Anything Strange or Out of The
. . . . . .Ordinary). It Was
More Than Likely "Downloaded" or
Something Unusual
. . . . . .Happened. If You Didn't "Download" It & You
Got Flagged For It Anyway,
. . . . . .STOP Using
That Particular
App Because It Means That App Has Started Doing
. . . . . .Something Unusual
Like Using "Torrents"!
It's VERY Important To Keep Up
. . . . . .With E-Mails From
Your ISP, Because After A Certain Amount of
Notices They
. . . . . .Will Terminate
Your Service.
3. If An App Asks If You Would Like To "Install" or "Download" ANYTHING (Like
. . . . . .A
New or Different "Player", Just Click On "Cancel" or Press The "Back"
Button
. . . . . .On Your Remote.
You DO NOT Need
To Install Anything On Your Device,
. . . . . .Everything Your
Device Needs Is Already Installed. Anything That You
. . . . . .Download or
Install You Do
At Your Own Risk, As Those Files Could Contain
. . . . . .Viruses, Spyware,
or Malware.
4. If An App Says That It Needs To Be Updated, By All Means Download & Install
. . . . . .That Update. Currently
The Only Exceptions To This Rule Is With The X-Rated
. . . . . .Apps "C*mTube" &
"Planet Pron",
NEVER Update These Apps. Just
Click
. . . . . .On "Remind
Later" or Just Press The Back
Button On Your Remote To Escape
. . . . . .That Dialog
Box & Continue.
. . . . .Note
1: Most Apps Are "Self-Updatable" (You
Can Update Them Yourself). But
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . .There Are A Few That Are
NOT & Will Fail When Trying To Do So, &
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . .Those
Apps May Stop Working Since They Can't Update (Some
Apps
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . .Will Refuse To Work Once
A New Version Has Been Released, Forcing
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . .You To Install The
New Version). Some
Apps Will Still Function If They
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . .Can't Complete An
Update, Just Press the "Back" Button To Escape
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . .The
Download Dialog Box (If Possible), or Just Let It Try
The Install,
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . .Let It Fail, Then
Press The "Back" Button To Escape The Dialog Box.
. . . . .Note
2: When You Do Install An Update & Go Back
To Your Home Page, You
. ..
. . . . .. . .
. . .. . . . .. . .
.Might Notice That There Are Now "2" Icons
For That App. This Is
. ..
. . . . ..
. . . . .. . . .
.. . . .Rare,
But This
Usually Happens When The Developer of That App Has
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . Made Some Major Changes
Within The App & Has Probably Changed
. ..
. . . . ..
. . . . .. . . .
.. . . .Its
App "ID", So The System Installs It As A "New" App
Instead of An
. ..
. . . . ..
. . . . .. . . .
... ."Update" To An Existing App. When
This Happens You Will Need To
. ..
. . . . .. . . . .
.. . . . .. . .
.Manually Delete (Uninstall) The "Old" App. The "New" App
Icon Will
. ..
. . . . .. . . . .
.. . . . .. . .
.Usually Show Up At The (Bottom) of Your Home Page. Highlight
The
. ..
. . . . .. . . . . ..
. . . .. ."Old" App & Press
The "Menu" Button On Your Remote (The Button
. ..
. . . . .. . . . .
.. . . . .. . .
.With 3 Lines), Then Click On "App Settings",
Click On "Force Stop",
. ..
. . . . .. . . . .
.. . . . .. . .
.Then Click On "Clear Cache", Then Click On "Clear
Data", Click On
. ..
. . . . .. . . . .
.. . . . .. ."Clear
Data" Again, Then Click On "Uninstall", Click On "Uninstall" On
. ..
. . . . .. . . . .
.. . . . .. . .
.The Confirmation Dialog Box. You May Then "Move" The
New App
. ..
. . . . .. . . . .
.. . . . .. . .
.Icon To Where The "Old" One Used To Be, or Wherever
You'd Like It.
I
Do Provide Updates For $20 (Per Device).
Updates Include A Routine
Cleaning, Deletion of Old Non-Working Apps, App Updates, And The
Installation of Any New Apps That I May Have.
5. When Setting Up Apps Like "Ring", "ADT", "Xfinity", etc. You
May Get A
. . . . . .Message Saying "Requires
Google Play Services", Just Ignore Those Warnings
. . . . . .& Move Forward
With The Setup By Pressing The "Back" Button On
Your
. . . . . .Remote To Dismiss
Them.
6. Your Screen
Saver Will Start After 10 Minutes of Inactivity & Your
Device Will
. . . . . .Go
Into Sleep Mode 30 Minutes After That.
*(The Screen Saver Streams
. . . . . .Content
From On-Line Sources So If It Is Choppy, Pauses, Stutters, or
Just
. . . . . .Doesn't
Seem To Be Moving It's
Because of Its' Internet Connection. In These
. . . . . .Cases
It Won't Harm Your Device or TV, & It Should Still Show The Correct
. . . . . .Time
Even If It Doesn't Seem To Be Moving.)
(*
Fire TV 4K, Cube, & Android Boxes Only)
(2nd Gen Sticks Use The Default Amazon Screen Saver)
» Tips «
1. Always Use The HDMI Extension Adapter In The Box (FireTV Devices).
. . . . . . . . .(This
Helps Improve The WiFi Signal & With Cooling (Keeping It Farther
From The TV))
2. Give Your Device Time To Settle Down After Starting/Restarting Before
Using
. . . . . .It.
When You See The Correct Time & Date Displayed
In The Upper Right
. . . . . .Corner
On Your Home Screen Give It About 2 or
3 More Minutes.
. . . . . .You Will Have
A Much Better Experience.
3. Make Sure The Time & Date Are Correct On Your Home Page (Upper
Right
. . . . . .Corner)
Before Using Any Apps To Avoid Weird & Strange App Behavior,
. . . . . .Errors, &/or
Crashes.
4. In General Your Apps Are Arranged In Groups & In Somewhat of
A "Best,
. . . . . .Better,
Good" Order. The First Few Apps
(After Your Subscription Apps) Are
. . . . . .What
I Like To Call "1-Click Apps",
Since You Don't Have To Wait For The App
. . . . . .To
Search For Files & Then
Choose
One of Them. You Just Click On The Play
. . . . . .Button/Icon & It
Just Starts Playing. The Next Few Apps Are Movie & Show
. . . . . .Apps
Like The "1-Click Apps" But
You Have To Choose The
Files That You Want
. . . . . .To
Try To Play/Stream. Then We Come To The Live TV Apps (Again
Arranged
. . . . . .In
Somewhat of A "Best, Better, Good" Order, But You Will
Be The Ultimate
. . . . . .Judge
of That). Apps After Live TV Will Vary, Like: "YouTube", "News", & Any
. . . . . .Other
Apps That You Have Requested.
( I
Would Stay Away From Movie/Show Files & Links Provided By "Movie25v2" )
5. In General To Close or Exit An App You Just Press The "Back" Button
A Couple
. . . . . .of
Times, That Will Either Exit The App or Bring
Up A Dialog Box (Some Boxes
. . . . . .Require "Yes" To Exit
The App & Some Require "No").
6. If You Have Opted To Lock (Password Protect) The Amazon Page (To
Help
. . . . . .Prevent
Unauthorized Viewing of Chargeable Amazon Content, Apps, &/or
. . . . . .X-Rated
Materials) Please Note That Apps Are ONLY Accessible On
Your Home
. . . . . .Page,
Any Apps or Content That Is On The Amazon Page or Access To System
. . . . . .Settings
Will Need A Password To
Be Accessed. Even Ones That Are Listed On
. . . . . .Your
Home Page. (This Is Useful
If Your Device Is For Kids, HELPING To
. . . . . .Restrict
Access To Apps & Content.)
7. Make Sure To Clean & Restart Your Device At Least Once A Week:
.
. . . . .Cleaning
Tools For 4K (3rd Gen) Sticks: Run The "DangBei" App
(TWICE In A
. . . . . .Row),
Then Run The "CCleaner" App,
Use The Mouse To Click On The
. . . .."Analyze" Button,
Then Click On
The "Finish Cleaning" Button. (DO NOT CLICK
. . . . . .ON
ANYTHING ELSE!) When Finished You
Can Press The Back Button A Few
. . . . . .Times
To Exit The App.
. . . . . .Cleaning
Tool For 2nd Gen Sticks: Run The "Clean Master" App
(TWICE In A
. . . . . .Row). Notice It Finishes
MUCH Quicker On The Second Run.
. . . . . .Restart/Reboot:
See
"How-To"
*Pro
Tip = Clearing App "Caches": When Using Apps, They
Download Temporary
. . . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . .Files
That They Need To Work, (Like Movie/Show Cover
Art, etc.).
. . . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . .Over
Time These Temporary Files Can Build Up Taking Up Precious
. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . .. .
. .Storage
Space & May
Even Cause The
App (or Even The Device Itself,
. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . .. .
. .Due To Low Storage Space) To Behave
Strangely, So It Is A Good
. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . .. .
. .Idea To Delete
These Temp
Files Often. You Can
Do
This After
Using
. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . .Said
App Every Time or Just Add This To Your Weekly Cleaning
. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . .Routine.
Method
1: On
Your Home
Page Highlight The App & Press The "Menu" Button
On
. . . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . .Your
Remote (The Button With 3 Lines), Then Click On "App
. . . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . .Settings",
Click On "Force Stop", Then Click On
"Clear Cache", Then
. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . . . .. . . .Press
The "Back" Button
To Return To Your Home Page.
Method
2: On
The "Amazon" Page Go To: "Settings" -> "Applications" ->
. . . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . . . ..
. ."Manage
Installed Applications", Click On The App, Click
On "Force
. . . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . .Stop",
Then Click On "Clear Cache". When Finished You Can
. . . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . .Press
The "Home" Button To Return To The Amazon Page.
I
Would Do This For All The Listed
.Apps That Have A Cache Larger Than "2MB".
. . . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . . . ..
. . .
(BE
VERY CAREFUL NOT TO CLICK ON "CLEAR DATA")
8. For Optimal Performance Try To Keep Your Fire TV's Internal Free
Space At or
. . . . . .Above "1.0
GB". You Can Check This By Going To:
.
. . . . .From
Your Home Page Click On "Home
Page Manager", Click On "My Fire TV"
. . . . . .-> "About" -> "Storage".
.
. . . . .From
The "Amazon" Home Page Go To: "Settings" -> "Applications" ->
. . . . "Manage
Installed Applications".
.
. . . . .It
Will Be Listed On The Right Side of The Screen.
You Can Help Keep Your
. . . . . .Fire TV Running
Smoothly By Following The Cleaning
Procedure.
9. Each App Is Different But In General When Looking At The "Movie" or "Shows"
. . . . . .List
There
Is An Option (Usually Located At or Near The Top or On The Menu)
. . . . . .To Change
The Category or Genre Type
(Thriller, Horror,
Action, Christmas,
. . . . . .Sci-Fi, Most Popular, etc.)
This Will Give
You Different Movie/Show
Listings, &
. . . . . .of Course Most Do Have a "Search"
Option.
10. Again Each App Is Different But In General When You Want To Change
The
. . . . . . . Viewing
List From "Movies" To "Shows" or Vice Versa,
The Option To Do So Is
. . . . . . . Usually
Located On
The Apps' Menu In The Upper Left or Right or On A Bar At
. . . . . . . The
Top or Bottom
of The Screen. (The Mouse May Be Required To Do So.)
11. If A Channel or Movie/Show Is Not Available or Won't Play, Try It
later or The
. . . . . . . Next
Day, They Usually Pop Back Up Sooner or Later.
Or Just Try It In A
. . . . . . . Different
App.
12. Most Apps Provide A "Favorites" or "Watch List" (or Similar
Name) Section,
. . . . . . . Where
You Can Have
Quick Access To Your Favorite Shows &/or
Movies That
. . . . . . . You'd
Like To Watch. For Instance You Might Come Across
A Movie That
. . . . . . . You'd
Like To Watch But Don't Want To Watch It Right Then. There Should
. . . . . . . Be
A Little Button
or Icon Somewhere On Screen (Usually Located In The
. . . . . . . Upper
Right Corner) That You
Can Click On To Add That Movie or Series To
. . . . . . . That
App's Favorite Tab. Now When You're
Ready To Watch, Just Go To That
. . . . . . . App's "Favorite" Tab
(Usually Located In The Apps' Menu).
13. Some Apps Do Require You To Create An Account To Take Full Advantage
of
. . . . . . . All
of Its Features (or Even To Use It), of Course The Creation of These
. . . . . . . Accounts
Are Free. You Just Create
An Account & Log Into The App.
. . . . . . . Some of These
Include: Tubi TV, Crackle, & Locast*.
.
. . . . . .Note:
So That You May Take Full Advantage of The App(s) & Have Access
To
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . ... .
. All
Channels, I Have Created A Temporary Account For Your "Locast"
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . ... . .App(s)
(If Available). If It Signs
You Out You Will Have To Create
A
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . ... . .New Account
For It. You Will Know If
You Need Too If You
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . ... . .See "Activate" On
The Screen.
(*
Locast Is Legal "Local Broadcast TV" via Streaming. It
Is A Regional Service
So
(Click
Here)
To Check If It's Available In Your Area & For More
Info.)
14. Your Streaming Experience Really Depends On Your Internet Connection.
No,
. . . . . . . You
Do Not Need A Super Fast Connection, But You Do Need A Stable,
. . . . . . . Reliable,
"Low-Latency" Connection. In
General A Connection of 10–20Mbps
. . . . . . . Is
Fine, But The Faster
The Better. An Internet Speed Checking App Is
. . . . . . . Provided
To Check Your
Connection.
(Even
If You Have A "Super Fast" Connection, If Said
Connection Isn't "Low-Latency" You're
Probably Going To Have Bad
Experiences. Someone With A Slow But "Low-Latency" Connection
Will Likely
Have A Better Experience Than Someone With A Fast "High-Latency" Connection.)
15. WiFi Networks:
.
. . . . . .If
You Are Using A 2nd Gen Stick, NEVER Connect To 5Ghz Networks,
Always
. . . . . . .Connect To
2.4Ghz Networks To Avoid Stability Issues Like Random Reboots
. . . . . . .& Other
Strange
Behavior.
.
. . . . . .If
You Are Using A 4K (3rd Gen) or Lite Stick or Cube Always Try
To Connect
. . . . . . .To 5Ghz
Networks When Available, For Better Performance.
( Click
Here For "How-To" On Connecting To WiFi )
.
. . . . . .You
Can Even Connect To Your Phone Using Its WiFi Hot Spot Feature
When
. . . . . . .Local
WiFi Isn't Available.
16. Watch The Amount of Data You Use. You Don't Want To Stream Files
That
. . . . . . . Are
Too Large (Those Will Not Only Eat Up Your Data But Your Connection
. . . . . . . May
Not Be
Able
To Handle It, Causing "Pausing", "Skipping", "Freezing",
. . . . . . . .etc.),
or Files That Are Too Small (Causing "Grainy", "Blurry",
or Just
Plain
. . . . . . . Sucky Video).
Now In "General" When
Watching A Movie I Would Stay
In The
. . . . . . "1 GB" Range (Give
or Take A Few MBs), & On
Shows I
Would Stay In The
. . . . . . "200
MB" or Below Range.
But This Is Really Something That You
Will Come
. . . . . . . To
Figure Out For Yourself,
Because Your Device & Your Connection
Is
. . . . . . . Unique.
.
. . . . . .. . . . . .Some Apps Will Give You Video Quality Options
Instead of Files Sizes Like:
. . . . . ."4K", "1080p",
"720p", "480p", etc. The Higher The Quality
The Larger The
. . . . . . .File Usually
Is. I
Would Try To Stay Away From "4K" & "1080p" Files,
As
. . . . . . .Those Are Probably
Very Large. In My Opinion "720p" Files Are Just Fine,
& In
. . . . . . .Some Cases "480p"
Files Are Even Good Enough. Now If Your Connection
Can
. . . . . . .Handle It And You
Just Want To Watch That "Special" Movie In
HD (High
. . . . . . .Definition)
(4K or 1080p), Then Go For It, But Don't Make That A Habit As
. . . . . . .These
Files Will Gobble Up Your Data & You Only Have A Limited
Amount
. . . . . .(Even If You Have
An "Unlimited Plan").
.
. . . . . .. . . . . .Speaking of Data, It's A Good Idea
To Keep Track of The Data That You
. . . . . . .Use. The Last
Thing You Want Is To Reach Your Data Cap & You're Days or
. . . . . . .Weeks
Away From Your
Next Billing Cycle. Your Internet Provider Should
. . . . . . .Have A Site
or An App That Lets You View Your Data Usage.
*Pro
Tip:
When Watching Shows or a "Series" I know It Is VERY Convenient To
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Let
The App You're Using Just Auto-Play The Next Episode For You.
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . While
This Is Very Nice & Provides A Seamless Experience, You Should
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . NOT Allow
Apps To Do This. I Disable or Turn Those Options Off When
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . I
Setup Your Devices. If You Have Re-Enabled
or Turned That Option
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Back
On In Your Apps You Should Definitely Turn Them Back Off or
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Disable
It.
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . You
May Be Asking "Why". Well The Reason Is Very Simple, When
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . It
Chooses The Next Link/File To Play, You Have Absolutely No Idea
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . What
It's Choosing, That Next File Could Be HUGE, Using Up Your
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Precious
Data Unnecessarily. Just Take The Extra Minute or Two To
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Choose Your
Own
Link/File.

17. To Help Alleviate Buffering With A Lot of Movies & Shows You
Can Try
. . . . . . .Using "Real-Debrid". I
HIGHLY Recommend This Service!
. . . . . . ..
. . . . . . Keep In Mind That When Apps Generate Those Lists
of Links/Files of
. . . . . . .Movies & Shows
That You Can Choose From, Those Lists Are Populated From
. . . . . ."Public"
Sources That Anyone Can Access.
Since Those Sources Are "Public"
. . . . . .(Meaning "Free"),
That's What Most People Will Be Accessing & The More
. . . . . . .People That
Are Accessing Those
Sources
The Slower Those Servers Will
. . . . . . .Become, Causing
Buffering, Etc. on Your End & Thers's NOTHING You Can Do
. . . . . . .About It.
You Can Try Choosing Another Link/File To Try Accessing Another
. . . . . . .Server,
That May Work, But Not Always.
. . . . . . .. . . . . . . That's
Where The Real-Debrid Service Comes Into Play, Real-Debrid
. . . . . . .Provides
Access To "Private" Sources Providing High Quality Links/Files.
Since
. . . . . . .This
Is A Paid Service, Not Too Many People Will Be Using It So The Chances
. . . . . . .of
Having A Nice Steady Stream Is Very High. Real-Debrid Is Mainly
For
. . . . . . .Movies But They
Do Provide Links/Files To Some Shows Also. So If The
. . . . . . .Regular Links/Files
Just Don't Seem To Be Working For You or If They're Just
. . . . . . .To Frustrating
& This Seems Like Something
You May Want To Try, I Would
. . . . . . .Recommend Signing
Up For The 15 or 30 Day Subscription To Try It Out.
. . . . . . .If You Do
Like It I Would Then
Sign Up For The "180 Day" (6 Month)
. . . . . . .Subscription When
Your Current Subscription Expires, Because It's Cheaper.

. . . . . .. . . . . . . Most of Your Apps Have Support For The Real-Debrid Service, Once You
. . . . . . .Sign Up & Register
Your App(s) You Can
Start Accessing The New Links/Files.
. . . . . . .You Will Know
The Difference Between The Real-Debrid Links/Files
& The
. . . . . . .Regular Ones By
The Color of The Links/Files &/or They Will Be Listed As
. . . . . ."RD", "DEB",
or "Real-Debrid".
.
. . . . . .. . . . . . . To
Register Your App(s) With The Service Just
Go Into That Particular
. . . . . . .Apps' Settings & Find
The "Log
Into Real-Debrid" Option (Naming May Vary),
. . . . . . .The App Will
Then Give You A Code. On The Real-Debrid Site
Click on "My
. . . . . . .Devices", Then
Click On "Add A New Device". Enter The Code That App Gave
. . . . . . .You (It's
NOT Case Sensitive), Then Click On "Continue". It Will Then Give
You
. . . . . . .The Option of
Naming What You Just Added, (I Would Suggest
The
Name
of
. . . . . . .Your
Device, The App Name/Device Name, The Room Your Device Is In, etc.
. . . . . . .It's
Up To You, Then Click "Set That Name", & You're Done. Do This For
Each
. . . . . . .App That You Want
To Register With The Service.
*Pro
Tip 1:
You Would Think That Each App Would Show The Exact Same
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Links/Files
When You're Looking Up The Same Movie or Show, So If
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .You
Don't See Any Links/Files In One App Why Would You Bother
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Looking
Up That Same
Movie/Show In Another App When They're
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Both
Using The Same Real-Debrid Service,
Right? WRONG! Just Like
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Each
App Shows Different Links/Files From Different Servers Around
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .The
World, Each App Will Also Show Different
Links/Files From
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Different Real-Debrid Servers.
So In Summation, If You Don't See Any
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Real-Debrid Links/Files
In One App Just Check Another App, You May
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Be
Surprised.
.
*Pro
Tip 2:
Remember That To Use The Real-Debrid Servers
Each App Must Be
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Registered With
The Service. Since Each Individual App Must Be
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Registered
With The Service, When An App Updates Itself
& It Installs
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .The
New Version Without Replacing The Old Version
(Meaning That
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .You
Now Have (2) Versions of That App) (Explained
Here),
You Must
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Register
That New Version With The Service. (Normal App Updates
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Won't
Break The Real-Debrid Registration.)
18. Don't Fall Into The Trap of Using Just 1 or 2 Apps & Ignoring
The Rest
. . . . . . . Because
You're Used To The Way Those Apps Work. Remember
ANY App Can
. . . . . . . Stop
Working At ANY Given Moment & If You're Not Familiar
With How The
. . . . . . . Other
Apps Work Then You Won't Know If Those Apps Are Working Correctly
. . . . . . . When
You Do Start Using Them Because
You Never Took The Time To Learn
. . . . . . . How
They Work. Try To Learn The Ins & Outs
of All of Your Apps.
19. If An App Is Behaving Unusually (Exhibiting Strange Behavior, Running
Slow,
. . . . . . . etc.)
You Might Need To Clear Its "Cache". On Your Home Page
Highlight The
. . . . . . . App & Press
The "Menu" Button On Your
Remote (The Button With 3 Lines),
. . . . . . . Then
Click
On "App Settings",
Click On "Force Stop", Then Click On "Clear
. . . . . . . Cache",
Then Press The "Back" Button To
Return To Your Home Page. If It Is
. . . . . . . Still
Misbehaving Then You May Have To "Reset" The
App. Repeat The Steps
. . . . . . . Above & Then
Also Click On "Clear Data",
Then Click On "Clear Data" Again.
(Resetting
Apps Is A Last Resort Measure Because Doing So Deletes ALL
of That
Apps' Settings & You Will Have To Go Into That Apps' Settings To
Set It Back
Up For Use.)
20. If You've Updated An App or If An App Has Just Popped Up A Page
Asking If
. . . . . . . You
Would Like To See Ads (I Prefer To See Ads) or To
Let It Use Your
. . . . . . . Devices'
Idle Resources In Exchange For An "Ad Free" Experience, ALWAYS
. . . . . . . Click on "I
Prefer To See Ads". Remember, You Have Ad Blocking
. . . . . . . Technology*
On Your Device, You Don't
Have To Worry About Ads.
21. The Two Main Programs That Your Device Uses To Play Content Are
"MX
. . . . . . . Player
Pro" (For Movies & Shows), & "BillyBob's
Browser"
(BBB) (For
. . . . . . . Trailers), &
These Apps Have
Been Setup To Be Used By Default. But
. . . . . . . Sometimes
Apps Can "Forget", &
Will Pop Up A Box Asking What Program
. . . . . . . or
App To Use When You Click On Something.
If You Are Trying To Watch
. . . . . . . A
Movie or Show & This Dialog
Box Pops
Up, Click On "MX Player Pro", &
. . . . . . . Make
Sure You Also Click On "Always" So
That It Will Remember That
. . . . . . . Choice.
If You Are Trying To Watch A Trailer, Click
On "BBB", & Again,
. . . . . . . Make
Sure That You Also Click On "Always".
. . . . . . . When Watching
A Trailer It Will Stay In "BBB"
When The Video Is Done, Just
. . . . . . . Press
The "Back" Button On Your Remote A Couple of Times To Return
To
. . . . . . . The App You Were Previously In.
.
. . . . . .Note
1: In Some Apps When You Click On A Link A Dialog Box
Will Pop Up
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Asking
To "Play" or "Play With External Video Player",
In These
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Cases
You Can Choose Either One. If You Choose "Play" The
App Will
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Use
Its' "Internal" Video Player (Which Doesn't Usually Have
Many
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Options,
Just A "Play/Pause" Button, & You May Have To Use The
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . "Mouse").
If You Choose "Play
With External
Video Player", It Will Use
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. The Default Player
(MX Player Pro).
.
. . . . . .Note
2: MX Player Has Many Features, of Course
It Has "Play/Pause",
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .. "Rewind" & "Forward",
But You
Also Have The Ability To Change The
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Aspect
Ratio (Video
Size), This Is Useful If The Video
You Are
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Watching
Doesn't Fill
The Screen & You Want It To. The "Quick"
Way
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. To
Do This Is By Using
The Aspect Icon Located In The Lower Right
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. of
The Play Window,
Just Click On That To Change Between
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Settings.
Just Remember
To Change It Back When Done Because It
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Might Remember
That Setting On The Next Video That You Play &
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. You Might
Not Want That. It Also Shows The Current Time In The
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Upper Right
Corner of
The Player, A Handy Feature.
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . You
Can Press The "Menu" Button
On Your Remote (The Button
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. With 3
Lines) To Pull
Up The Options Menu. In This Menu You Will
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Find Options
For "Display" (Even
More Aspect Ratio Choices), "Audio"
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .. (To
Change Between
Different Audio Tracks "Languages")
(If
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .
. Available),
& Subtitle Options (If Available).
(I Do
Not Recommend Messing Around In Any of The "Settings" Menus
If You Don't Know What You're Doing.)
*Pro
Tip 1:
When You Pause A Movie/Show & Press Play Again The Audio May
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Disappear,
To Fix This Just Click On The "HW" or "SW" In The Upper
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Right
Corner of The Player Menu & Select A Different "Decoder". In
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .General
You
Can Switch Between The "HW" & The "HW+" Decoder.
*Pro
Tip 2:
When Watching A Movie/Show The Audio May Get Out of Sync With
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .The
Video. In Most Cases You Can Fix This By Just Rewinding The
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Video
A Few Seconds. (Of Course This Method Won't Work If The
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . .Video
File Itself Is The Cause of The Problem).
22. Most People Don't Realize This But YouTube Has Free Movies & Shows!
That's
. . . . . . . Right,
With The Same High Quality As Any Video On The Platform. Just Go
To
. . . . . . . The "Movies" Tab
In The App And Look At The "Free
To Watch" Section. You
. . . . . . . Can
Also Do A Search For "Free Movies" or "YouTube
Movies" or Your
. . . . . . . Favorite
Network or Series & See What Pops
Up. If You Find A Good Channel
. . . . . . . or
Area Make Sure You Add It To Your "Subscriptions", "Favorites",
or
. . . . . . ."Watch Later" List
So You Won't Have To Search For It Next Time.
23. You Can Take Your Stick (Meaning Your Movies & Shows)
With You. When
. . . . . . . Traveling
or Just Visiting A Friend, Bring Your Stick With You. Just
Plug It
. . . . . . . Into
The HDMI Port On
The Television/Monitor, Connect To A WiFi Network &
. . . . . . . Start Streaming.
Even At Hotels!
24. Don't Forget You Have The Power of Alexa In Your Hands! Just Press & Hold
. . . . . . . The "Mic/Alexa" Button
On Your Remote To Talk To Her. You Can Ask Her
. . . . . . . Questions,
Set Timers, Set Alarms, All Kinds of Things. For Example, While
. . . . . . . You're
Watching A Movie You Can Ask Alexa To Set A 30 Minute Timer To Let
. . . . . . . You
Know When
The Pizza In The Oven Is Ready!
25. Before Turning Your TV/Monitor Off Make Sure You Stop Whatever It
Is That
. . . . . . . You Are Watching.
If You Don't You Will Be Wasting Your Data, Since It Will
. . . . . . . Still
Be Streaming But You Are Not Watching.

Tip: To Help With Pausing Issues Try Pressing The "Pause/Play" Button On
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Your
Remote & Let The "Buffer" Build Up Before Pressing
The
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . "Play/Pause"
Button Again.
That Line That You See Getting Longer
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . (Right
After The Place Where
You Paused It) Is How Much Video The
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Buffer
Has (It May Take
A Minute or Two Before You See It Start To
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Move.)
Just Give It A
Few Minutes To Let The Buffer Build Up A Little
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . So
It Can Try To Keep
Pace With Your Watching or You Can Just Leave
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . It
Paused & Let
It Buffer As Much of The Video As It Can, Maybe Even
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Possibly The
Entire Video. (This Has To Do With The "Free Space" On
. . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . Your Device.)
» App Specific Tips «
-
Subscription Services -
(Amazon Prime / Hulu / Netflix / etc.)
The
Default Streaming Video Quality of These Services (Depending on Your
Subscription Plan) Is Usually The Highest Possible ("4K" or "1080p").
As Noted Earlier You
Really Want To Stay Away From These High Quality Streams As These
Will Eat Up Your Data VERY Quickly
Because These
Are Large Files That You Are Viewing. Watching Those High Quality
Streams May Be Eye Candy, Very Nice & Pretty, BUT You Just May
Regret It Later (Hitting Your Data Cap). You Should Go Into The "Video" or "Playback"
Settings of Those Services (Usually Accesable via That Services'
Website)
And Change The Default Quality From "Best" or "High" (or
Whatever It's Called) To "Standard" or "Basic".
You Probably Won't Even Notice A Difference, But Your Data Pipe Sure
Will!
-
App Killer -
This
Is A Nice Simple App That Closes All Apps
That Are Running In The Background (See
Details Here). To Use The App
You Simply Click It, It Will Then Close The Apps & Show You
How Much Memory It Has Freed Up.
. . . . . . . Note That Some
Apps Will Start Themselves Again In The Background On Their Own,
You Can't Prevent That From Happening, Some Apps Are Just Designed
That Way.

BillyBob's Browser -
BillyBob's
Browser (BBB) Is
A Simple Internet Browser I Built To Be Optimized For Your TV & FireStick
Remote & It
Is Mainly Used By The Other Apps To Show Movie/Show Trailers (via
YouTube),
But
It
Also
Has A
Few
Live TV & On Demand Movie "Bookmarks" On The Home Page
That You Can Open & Enjoy.
.
. . . . . . BBB Has A "Built-In" Mouse So
You Don't Need To Activate The Mouse On The Remote To Navigate
The Screen. Just Use The "Ring" On The Remote To Move
Around And Use The Select Button To "Click". When Watching
TV &/Or Videos They Usually Only Show In A Small "Window",
You Must Click On The "Expansion Arrows" (Usually Located
In The Lower Right Corner of The Window) To Expand It To Full Screen.
You May Also Have To Click On The "Speaker" Icon To Toggle
The "Mute" Function. (You May Have To Click On The Video
Window To Make The Menu Choices Appear). You Can Press The "Back" Button
On Your Remote To Escape The "Full Screen" Mode. You
May Also Press The "Menu" Button On Your Remote (The
Button With 3 Lines) To Open BBB's Menu Page.

HDtv Ultimate -
(Version
3.0 - New Version)
Version 3 Is Currently Not Working (Incompatibility
With My Ad Blocking Technology)
This
App Has 3 Main Areas, "Sports", Live
TV, & "Movies", (They Are Listed At The Top of The
Screen). In My Experience With This App The Only Area That Seems
To Work Is
The "Live TV". The App Opens On The "Sports" Area, So Just Move To
The "Live TV" Button & Click On It. You Will See A List of "Servers"
In The Small Left Window, You Can Choose "Premium VIP Server" 1,
2, or 3 (The Others Don't Seem To Be Functioning) To See What Channels
Are Available. Once
You Click On A Server The List of Available Channels on That Server
Will
Populate
The Middle
Window. When You Click On A Channel That You Want To Watch You Will
Then See The Small Window On The Right Pop Up. At The Top You
Will See The Channel You Picked & Below That You Will See A Button
Labeled "Link 1" (There May Be More "Link" Buttons If Multiple Sources
Are Found). When That Button Becomes "Highlighted" (It Will Have
A White Ring Around It) You May Then Press The "Select" Button On
Your Remote To Click It. If That Channel Is Available It Will Start
Streaming, If It's Not Available You Can Press The "Back" Button
On Your Remote To Go Back & Pick Another Channel, or Choose Another
Link If One Is Available. You Do NOT Need To Click On ANYTHING Else
In That Small Right Window, Except
The
"Add To Favourites" Button If You Choose To Do So.
- MediaBox HD -
When
Opening The App You May (More Often Than Not) Get A Couple of Pop-Up
Screens, If It's A Gray/Transparent Screen Just Click On
The "OK" Button,
If It's Something Like A Full
Screen Ad Just Press The "Back" Button On Your Remote To
Escape It. That Gray
Transparent Screen Pops Up Again When Choosing Movies/Shows, Again Just Click
On "OK".
-
Media Lounge -
I
Recommend Only Using This App For The "Live TV" & "XXX" Sections.
Unless You Use The "Real-Debrid" Service.
The "Movies" & "TV
Shows" Sections Are Functional But They Are Finicky
& It Doesn't Show The Sizes of The Files, "Real-Debrid"
Links Do Show File sizes.
You
May Have To Press The "Back" Button on Your Remote When
You Open This App, Otherwise It May Seem As If The App Is Frozen.
.
. . . . . . When You Click On The "Live TV" Section
It Will Usually Default To The "UK" Channel List So Make Sure You
Change It To "USA".
.
. . . . . . When You Click On The "Adult" Section
It Will Ask For Your "PIN". To Enter The
PIN Press The "Select" Button On Your Remote & Enter "6969",
Then Press The "Play/Pause" Button or Click On "Next",
Then Click On "OK". It Will Usually Default To The "Anime" Category,
Just Click On The Pull Down List At The Top To Choose A Different
Category.
- Ola TV -
When
Opening The App Just Scroll Down The List of Tabs (Icons) Until You
See A USA Flag or A "Canada & USA" Flag, There
May Be Several But I Find That The First Few Ones Are Usually The
Best & Well
Worth Looking Because When You Do Find A Working Channel It Is Usually
In HD Quality. If The Channel(s) You Are Looking For Are Not Working
In One Tab Just Go To The Next One. Any Tabs/Channel(s) That Require
A PIN
Just
Ignore.
And Again,
If It Asks You To "Install" or "Download" Anything
Just Use The "Back" Button To Back Out of That Tab or Click
On "Cancel".
.
. . . . . . This
App Also Has "1 Click Movies", On The Top Row You Will Find The Movie
Tabs, Each Tab Has Different Movies In Them & They Seem To Be In
Alphabetical Order & Usually High Quality. I Find That #Movies
0, 1, & 2 Work Best. But Feel Free To Explore The Other Tabs
As Well, As Things Are Always Changing.
- Oreo TV -
There
Are 2 Areas On The Top Menu of This App That You Will Mainly Be Using, "Live
TV" & "Favourites". Click On "Live TV" On
The Top Menu, Then Click On "Hallow TV" (1st Choice)
or "Unicorn
TV" (2nd Choice), You May Then Proceed To Click
On Whichever Channel You'd
Like To Watch. "Unicorn TV" Is Strictly US Stations So You
Shouldn't Have A Problem Finding What You're Looking For In That Area, "Hallow
TV" Has The
Same Channels As "Unicorn" Plus About 300+ More Channels. You Have
To Scroll Down Pretty Far To Get To
The US Stations (or You Can Just Use The "Search" Bar At The Top
To Search For A Certain
Station). To Avoid Doing This EVERYTIME You Use The App You Can Add The Stations
That You Watch To The "Favourites" List By Clicking On The "Heart" Icon
On The Menu Bar When Watching A Channel (You Can Press The "Select" Button
or Anywhere On The "Ring" On Your Remote To Pull Up The Menu Bar
While Watching Something). When You've
Added All of Your Channels To The "Favourites" You No Longer Have
To Go To Those Areas, You Can Now Just Open The App & Go Right To The "Favourites" Area
On The Menu
Bar To Go To Your Channels. Feel Free To Explore The Other Areas In This App,
It Has A
LOT of Content But "Hallow TV" & "Unicorn TV" Is The
Reason This App Was Installed.
As of Right Now These 2 Areas Are Where The US Stations Are. If The Spinning
Circle Won't Disappear Then That Channel Is Currently Unavailable, If It Seems
Like
NONE of The Channels In That Area Are Working Then The Servers Are Probably
Down, You Can Check Back Later. Things Are Always Changing In This App So
If The Channels Stop Working In Those Areas (For A LONG Period of Time) You
May Have To Look Into Some of The Other
Areas To Find Them Again.
FYI: You Can Also "Pause" Live TV In This App.
-
TPlayer -
TPlayer
Is The Video Player Used By "TeaTV" & "VivaTV" (Instead of "MX
Player Pro",
This App Is Updated Often So It Is Ok To Update It When Asked To
Do So.
- TVTap -
Opening
The App All You Get Is A White Screen? This App Is Really Good
But Sometimes It Does Display This Problem. This Issue Can Usually
Be Resolved By Clearing The Apps' "Cache" Once or Twice.
Highlight The App & Press The "Menu" Button On Your
Remote (The Button With 3 Lines), Then Click On "App Settings",
Click On "Force Stop", Then Click On "Clear Cache", Then
Press The "Back" Button
To Return To Your Home Page & Try Opening It Again, If It Still Doesn't
Work Repeat Those Steps.

People Are Currently Using It.
2.
To Use The App You First Click On "TV" (It's Usually
Already Highlighted In

Channel You Were Last Watching (If That Channel Is

Press The "Back"
. . . . . .Button Again To Bring It Back.
4.
On The Left Side of The Channel Menu You Will See Little "Circle
Flags", These
. . . . . .Allow You To Select The Country That You
Want To Watch TV In. The USA Has
. . . . "2" Servers,
Both Are
Usually Working & They Both Have Different Channels.
. . . . . .For Instance If You
Are On "1" & None of The Channels Seem To Be Working,
. . . . . .Use The "Mouse" (or
The "Rewind" & "Fast Forward" Buttons) To Click On "2"
. . . . . .or
Vice Versa, & Check Those Channels, At Least One of The Servers Should
. . . . . .Be
Working, If Not Check Back At A Later Time.
5.
To Exit The App Press The "Back" Button Until The Dialog
Box Pops Up, Then
. . . . . .Click "Yes",
This Will Take You Back To The Main Screen, DO NOT Press the

To
Escape This Screen, Just Click The "Exit" Button Located On
. . . . . .The Bottom
Right of The
Screen.

This
Is One of The What I Call "1-Click Apps" (You Don't Have To Choose
A File or Link, It Just Starts Playing The Video). But This App Still
Allows You To Pick A File/Link If You Want To. When You Click on
A Movie/Show & The Video Window Opens You Can Click on The "S" On
The
Lower Right
Menu To Choose The Particular Stream You Want.
